The Samsung Galaxy Book3 models will arrive in the market by February or early March
Samsung has confirmed the arrival of Galaxy Book3 models at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event on February 1. The Book3 series will be launched alongside the Galaxy S23 in India and globally. Both the series will be available in the market sometime in February or early March.
A recent report leaked some key specs of the laptop family. As per rumours, Book3 series will include five models this year, with the Ultra as the flagship variant.
Book 3, Book 3 360, Book 3 Pro and Book 3 Pro 360 will be upgrades to the existing Galaxy Book 2 series models, according to online reports. The fifth model, the long-awaited Book 3 Ultra, will apparently be the best.
Galaxy Book3 series : Awesome features
According to the report, it may have a 16-inch 2880 x 1800p AMOLED screen along with 13th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU, up to 32GB of RAM, 1TB of PCIe NVMe Gen4 storage and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.
Other speculations include a 76Wh battery, 136W charger, and an S Pen holster. The laptop is expected to have a weight of 1.8kg and 17mm thick at its thickest point.
The Book3 Pro comes in 14-inch and 16-inch options, with either Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P processors paired with 16GB RAM and 1TB of NVMe SSD. The Pro banks on the integrated Iris Xe graphics.
The 14-inch option will have a 63Wh battery, while the 16-inch apparently has the same 76Wh cell as the Ultra, as per leaks. The Samsung Galaxy S23 series pricing in Europe was also leaked by tipster Roland Quandt.
Connectivity options are said to include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, MicroSDXC, 3,5mm audio jack, 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB A 3.2 Gen 1, 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and HDMI. Other specs may include AKG-powered quad speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, 1080p webcam, and 76Wh battery.
Pre-bookings begin
The Book 3 pre-reservations have begun through an official page on the Samsung India website. Pre-reservations come with extra benefits worth Rs 5,000 and a shopping voucher worth Rs 2,000 that is redeemable on the Samsung Shop app.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event will start at 11:30 pm (IST) on February 1. The event will be streamed live on Samsung’s Newsroom and the company’s official YouTube channel.
