Rahul Gandhi said the country needs rapid and complete vaccination instead of ‘lies and rhyming slogans’
Congress leader and Member of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said that the BJP-led Central government is facilitating the spread of novel Coronavirus in its attempt to save PM Modi’s ‘fake’ image.
He said the country needs rapid and complete vaccination instead of ‘lies and rhyming slogans’.
“India needs quick & complete vaccination – not BJP’s usual brand of lies & rhyming slogans to cover-up vaccine shortage caused by Modi Government’s inaction,” he tweeted.
He further added that Government of India’s constant attempts to save Prime Minister’s “fake image” are facilitating the virus & costing people’s lives.
Rahul’s comments come as the country looks to be recovering from the COVID-19‘s destructive second wave.
He also slammed a report alleging that the government increased the gap between the two doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine without consulting the scientific group that advised the increase.
