COVID-19 Vaccines: Peter McCullough’s Spike Protein Claims

In September 2026, cardiologist and epidemiologist Dr. Peter McCullough appeared as a witness at the Allison Inquiry, an independent, non-partisan hearing chaired by Canadian Member of Parliament Dean Allison and held on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. During his testimony, McCullough presented a detailed account of the origins of SARS-CoV-2 and the mechanisms he believes underlie vaccine-related harms.

In medical terms, there are four human beta coronaviruses that can cause the common cold. However, they account for only a small fraction of common cold cases. This was the situation before the pandemic. Each of these viruses has a core called the nucleocapsid, along with proteins on its surface known as spike proteins.

In simple terms, he explained that the spike protein is a key component of the coronavirus. He also alleged that a US-China collaborative company, involving several individuals, had been working since at least 2012 to create SARS-CoV-2, the virus that caused widespread illness.

Dr. Peter McCullough further stated that the virus, specifically its spike protein, was intentionally engineered to invade the respiratory tracts of humanised animals and kill them.

In layman’s terms, he meant that “someone is accused of tampering with a virus so that it could unlock and enter specially modified laboratory animals with human-like respiratory systems and then cause their deaths.”

He suggested that the virus was deliberately created with the potential to cause fatal illness in humans and could enter the body through the respiratory tract, including the nose, throat and lungs.

He further claimed that 97% of the world’s population had been exposed to a virus that had attacked their bodies and that the virus was a product of gain-of-function biological threat research based in Wuhan, China.

He also explained: “The COVID shot delivers a set of man-made genetic instructions wrapped in tiny fat bubbles. Those instructions are tweaked so the body doesn’t break them down quickly, and the bubbles can travel widely, including to the brain and eyes. Cells then read the instructions and produce the coronavirus spike protein. The passage claims that they produce large amounts of it.

“That spike, it says, can damage cells, remain on their surfaces and confuse the immune system into attacking the body because it resembles certain human proteins. Natural infection exposes you to only part of the spike, while the vaccine exposes you to the full spike. This full spike can clump together and move through the blood, potentially leading to different problems in different people, including blood clots, heart inflammation and eye problems, depending on where it travels and each person’s genetics.

“AstraZeneca and Janssen used a different delivery system, but the passage claims that they still caused a large burst of spike protein production. It concludes that vaccine injuries are a complicated combination of the vaccine and each person’s individual vulnerabilities. Differences between vaccine batches and antibody responses may explain why some people are severely affected while others are not. The spike protein, it claims, was designed to kill.”

He further stated: “Some of you must be wondering how, in the world, one person can experience blindness, another can suffer an aneurysm, and another person’s son can die of cardiac arrest. How can that happen after one or two shots? It’s because of genetics, and it’s because the protein is a product of gain-of-function research. It was designed to kill.”

He continued: “In fact, people who have taken these vaccines are, in many ways, lucky to be alive because their library of antibodies directed against the spike protein must be perfectly neutralising it. That’s the only explanation that exists right now.

“There’s variation in the vaccine lots. Some lots probably contained very little messenger RNA, while others were heavily loaded. Each person has their own genetics, and it has been my clinical experience, after examining thousands of patients, that if anyone has even a small flaw in their genetics, epigenetics or baseline health, the vaccine seems to strike at that vulnerability.

“For example, if someone has a predisposition to blood clotting, they take the vaccine, and it can have a dramatic effect.”

Dr. Peter McCullough gave a real-life example, describing what he said were the biggest blood clots he had ever seen in medical history. Before the pandemic, he explained, a blood clot in the leg was typically about an inch long. “I have patients in whom the entire leg is a solid blood clot, even extending up to the inferior vena cava,” he said.

He further explained: “It’s individual baseline variation, and then it’s the library of antibodies that people produce against this spike protein. If their immune system is perfect, they can hopefully neutralise every single bit of that spike protein, perhaps forever, and never have a problem.

“So the spike protein in one human body is not necessarily the same as it is in another human body. It may fold in a way that damages neurological receptors in the spinal cord, causing transverse myelitis. It may fold in a way that causes it to attach to red blood cells, form micro-blood clots and cause blindness in the eye.

“You can see on the right here that, according to the biodistribution data, it goes everywhere. What we understand is that this messenger RNA, adenoviral DNA, lipid nanoparticles and spike protein can travel throughout the human body.”

McCullough’s words are significant here. He stated: “This is the last thing you would want with a genetic code that is coding for a lethal protein. It is the worst biological idea I’ve ever heard in my life.”

The Allison Inquiry has heard 50 testimonies directly from patients, medical experts and relatives of people who died or suffered health problems after receiving COVID-19 vaccines. A global lobby of powerful people, including government authorities worldwide, allegedly does not want to discuss this topic because it directly questions the decisions and actions of authorities around the world.

The lives of billions of people are potentially at stake, yet nobody seems willing to discuss the issue. Dr. Peter McCullough directly questioned doctors and health agencies around the world, asking why nobody had raised these concerns. He also claimed that he was the first person to question coronavirus vaccines in August 2020.

The Allison Inquiry has only just begun, and the testimonies have already raised questions about healthcare organisations worldwide. In the coming months, further testimonies may bring more cases to light. One day, people may come to view this episode as one of the worst medical gambles in history.
