Pre-school brand Zoonicorn set for global debut as Toonz Media Group, Zoonicorn LLC close multiple media deals

The Zoonicorn CGI Series will debut on streaming platforms worldwide in August

A slew of streaming platforms across the world will kick off the debut of the Zoonicorn CGI series, a multiplatform animated preschool brand from Zoonicorn LLC and Toonz Media Group. The debut is set for August.

Zoonicorn, positioned as a 52×7’ series, is currently wrapping up production at Toonz and has already been picked up by NBCU’s kids OTT platform Peacock in the US. This apart the series will also go on stream on US-based Kidoodle, Malaysia-based Astro, Thailand-based Truecorp, Venezeulan streaming platform La Teletuya and Hong Kong’s Viu.

Toonz Entertainment, the distribution wing of Toonz, has also signed consumer product and distribution sub-agent deals to represent the show in multiple territories across the world, said a Toonz Media Group source. Licensing agreements are expected to be announced without much delay.

Toonz is the global distributor or the CGI series

Toonz, which is also the worldwide distributor of Zoonicorn, has granted L&M representation to bRAND-WARD Services for the UK and Ireland; Team Entertainment for Italy; Dynamic Brand for Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia and Peru; and Empire Multimedia for: Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

According to Bruno Zarka, President of Distribution and Feature Films Division at Toonz Media Group, Toonz has finalized the last footprint into the 360 degrees’ monetization of Zoonicorn with media distribution and licensing and merchandising representation deals with well-established partners such as Jean Philippe Randisi for bRAND-WARD and Maria Romanelli for Team Entertainment. With its North American partner All Art Licensing, Toonz Media Group also attended the Licensing Expo at Las Vegas this year, from where it received good response.

As Zoonicorn gets set for a global debut on multiple streaming platforms, Mark Lubratt, the creator of the series, opined that his team had found the ideal partner in Toonz to support their vision and take it to the next level. Expected to excite that kids around the globe, Zoonicorn will bring to the fore an empowering message of optimism and resilience.

The Zoonicorn CGI series features a Zooniverse of enchanting characters. A magical mix of zebra and unicorn, the Zoonicorns inhabit the dreams of young animals, taking them on amazing adventures to help learn important social-emotional skills.
