18th CII EXIM Bank Conclave – Message from Rwanda Mission in India

The High Commission of Rwanda to India is grateful for the unwavering efforts by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to increase Indian investments in Africa and in Rwanda particularly.

The nation aspires to Middle Income Country status by 2035 and High-Income Country status by 2050.” – Ms Jacqueline MUKANGIRA, High Commissioner of Rwanda to India.

Rwanda has growth ambitions and works in cooperation with external stakeholders to achieve its goals. The nation aspires to Middle Income Country status by 2035 and High-Income Country status by 2050. It plans to achieve this through a series of seven-year National Strategies for Transformation (NST1), underpinned by sectoral strategies focused on meeting the UN and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The High Commission of Rwanda to India is grateful for the unwavering efforts by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to increase Indian investments in Africa and in Rwanda particularly. Today, Indian investors come in second place for big investments in Rwanda.

The High Commission of Rwanda takes this opportunity to wish the CII and Exim Bank a successful 18th Conclave on India-Africa Growth Partnership, 14-16 June 2023.
