The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives due to the boat mishap in Malappuram, Kerala. While conveying his condolences, the Prime Minister announced ex gratia for the dead.

കേരളത്തിലെ മലപ്പുറത്തുണ്ടായ ബോട്ട് അപകടത്തിലെ ജീവഹാനിയിൽ ദുഖിക്കുന്നു . മരിച്ചവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്ക് അനുശോചനം. ദുരന്തത്തിൽ മരിച്ച ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയുടെയും അടുത്ത ബന്ധുക്കൾക്ക് പി എം എൻ ആർ എഫിൽ നിന്ന് 2 ലക്ഷം രൂപ സഹായധനമായി നൽകും: പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി@narendramodi
