Reports indicate that after the collision, Kaveri was dragged for 1.5 km before Mihir stopped, switched seats with his driver, and escaped in another vehicle. Rajesh Shah was also arrested for assisting his son but was granted bail the following day. Mihir Shah remains in judicial custody till July 30, 2024.
