Dhoni film production venture set for debut feature in Tamil

From the cricket field to the big screen. That’s where India’s ace cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is headed. A film production venture named Dhoni Entertainment is all set to hit sixers right into the box office in a short time from now.

Dhoni Entertainment has created waves in the entertainment scenario with the launch of the first look poster of its production venture titled Let’s Get Married.

Let’s Get Married or LGM needs to be seen as Dhoni Entertainment’s debut production, and is a Tamil Movie. Interesting is the fact that Sakshi Dhoni has created the film, and the first look poster offers an insight into what the film would be.  Fans have wholeheartedly acknowledged the first look poster, and it has gone viral on social media right from the moment it was unveiled.

Dhoni Entertainment film to be helmed by Ramesh Thamilmani

Dhoni Entertainment’s Let’s Get Married stars Harish Kalyan, Ivana, and veteran actress Nadiya in prominent roles. The poster shows the three of them staring at a wedding ring, and it looks like there’s much action out there around the ring.

M S Dhoni’s production house has roped in Tamil director Ramesh Thamilmani. Being positioned as a family fun flick, LGM will be Dhoni Entertainment’s big gamble in the southern filmdom that has seen major hits and misses during the past few months. The film will also have in its cast prominent stars such as Yogi Babu and R.J. Vijay, but will miss out on the superstars who reign Tollywood.

It is expected that Let’s Get Married is in the shooting process at the moment and will be ready for release in a few months. Dhoni and Tamil movie fans are expecting to learn from the production company a date soon.

Huge fan base in Tamil Nadu

MS Dhoni’s love for Tamil takes off from his involvement as star player of the Chennai Super Kings IPL cricket team. He already has a fan base in the south Indian state, ad he would be looking to establish that in more concrete terms with the new Tamil film his production house is making.

Dhoni Entertainment is owned by both Dhoni and his wife Sakshi, and had already made small scale flicks such as ‘Roar of the Lion’, ‘Blaze to Glory’ and ‘The Hidden Hindu’.
