NEW DELHI — September appears to be jam-packed with major smartphone announcements from some of the industry’s biggest names.
The iPhone 13 series and the Galaxy S21 FE are expected to be unveiled in September, according to Apple and Samsung. And now, it appears that the giant company Google is attempting to steal the show.
Google’s massive new Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones are on the way, and a tip suggests they may come sooner than expected.
Google Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro expected launch on September 13
According to Mashable, September 13 is the rumour, a day before Apple is anticipated to reveal the much-anticipated iPhone 13.
According to the source, Google’s international Google Pixel 6 launch press conference will take place on September 13th. If this is correct, September will be a very busy month for smartphones.
Google to ramp up cameras even more in the Pixel series
Google’s phones have always had excellent cameras, and it appears like the firm is ramping up its photography game even more this year.
The Pixel 6 Pro will have three cameras, each with up to 4x optical zoom, a first for Google’s smartphone brand. The Pixel 6 Pro will have a QHD+ 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh rate display, while the Pixel 6 will have a 90Hz display.
Tensor, Titan M2 chips to power & secure the smartphones
To add to the mystery, it is said that the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will use Google’s own ‘Tensor’ processor. While Samsung is allegedly managing the manufacture of the new Tensor chip, Google has stated that it would increase its performance by adding its own Machine Learning and AI algorithms.
In addition to the TPU, both of the forthcoming smartphones will contain the latest version of Google’s Titan M security chip.
The Pixel 6 will feature the greatest levels of hardware security in any phone, Google claimed, citing Tensor’s new security core and Titan M2.
A number of major features that are likely to be included in the forthcoming Pixel 6 series have also been reported in the past. The Pixel 6 Pro, for example, will include a 5,000mAh battery, 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage space.
