Punjab CM condoles demise of noted Sikh scholar Dr. Jodh Singh

Captain Amarinder Singh, the Chief Minister of Punjab, expressed his condolences on the death of Dr. Jodh Singh, a Sikhism scholar.
Dr. Jodh Singh died on Sunday at his Patiala home following a brief illness, according to his family. Survived by his wife, son, and daughter-in-law, he was 70 years old.
“Chief Minister @Capt_Amarinder Singh condoled the sad demise of the noted Sikh scholar and Professor of Sikhism Dr. Jodh Singh (70), who passed away at his residence in Patiala this afternoon after a brief illness,” a tweet from Chief Minister’s Office said.
Dr. Jodh Singh, a professor of Sikhism and editor-in-chief of the “Encyclopedia of Sikhism” at Punjabi University in Patiala, was born in Sangatpur (Kalanaur) in Gurdaspur district.
“Religious Philosophy of Guru Nanak” and “A few Sikh Doctrines Reconsidered” were among his works.
