Mumbai, India: Bollywood enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the release of the upcoming action-thriller film, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by a stellar lineup including Zafar, Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Himanshu Kishan Mehra under the banners of Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films. The film, featuring A-listers Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles, boasts a star-studded cast that includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F.

The project was officially announced on 8 February 2022, much to the excitement of fans anticipating the collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in this high-octane action-packed venture. Principal photography kick-started in January 2023, with the crew capturing scenes at various global locations, including Mumbai, Scotland, London, Luton, Abu Dhabi, and Jordan. Initially slated for a December 2023 release, the film is now set to hit theatres on Eid 2024.

Casting:

The casting buzz for “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” added to the film’s intrigue. Following early rumors linking Janhvi Kapoor to a key role, Manushi Chhillar joined the cast in November 2022. In December 2022, Prithviraj Sukumaran was confirmed to play the main antagonist, while Sonakshi Sinha and Alaya F joined the ensemble in March 2023.

Filming Highlights:

Principal photography commenced on 17 January 2023 at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, featuring a dance number and an action scene shot in Bunker with Kumar and Shroff. Subsequent shoots included action scenes in Film City and a major schedule in the United Kingdom, concluding in April 2023. The film’s final schedule took place in Abu Dhabi, culminating in Jordan with the filming of three concluding songs in January 2024.

The film’s filming journey wasn’t without its challenges, as Akshay Kumar sustained an injury during a bike chase sequence. The crew executed high-octane action sequences involving cars, bikes, helicopters, tanks, horses, dune buggies, planes, and even a Chinook helicopter, creating a visually stunning cinematic experience.

Release Date:

Initially slated for a Christmas release in December 2023, the producers, Pooja Entertainment, shifted the release to Eid 2024. The film is poised to captivate audiences in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, promising a multi-lingual cinematic treat.
