“JKBOSE declares Class 10th (Regular) results for Kashmir Division”

Among the total pass percentage, 74.04 per cent of boys and 76.09 girl students have managed to qualify the exams

SRINAGAR (J&K)Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Friday morning declared Class 10th (Regular) results for the students from the UT’s Kashmir Division.

According to the initial analysis of the annual result statistics, girl students seem to have outshined boys in the exams. Among the total pass percentage, 74.04 per cent of boys and 76.09 girl students have managed to qualify the exams.

“A total of 75,132 students were enrolled for the exams out of which 56,384 qualified the exams and 18,626 students couldn’t qualify the exams,” JKBOSE said.

Initial reports suggest that many students managed to secure full marks i.e, 500 out of stipulated 500.

One such student from SRM Welkin School Sopore, Rounaq Dilshad, managed to pass the examination with full marks. Many local news outlets claimed her to be the topper of the exam.

Hailing from a poor hamlet of Hardushiva Zaingair Sopore, Rounaq Dilshad daughter of Dilshad Ahmad Waza expressed happiness over her achievement.

Saqib Rahim from Shopian and Tabasum Gulzar from Ganderbal among other students also managed full marks out of the stipulated 500. The students also expressed their joy over their feat and vowed to continue working hard.
