Children Take Centre Stage as Clear Cut Magazine Makes Its Debut at Jaishankar Memorial Centre

New Delhi : In an innovative turn with traditional celebrity-laden unveilings, the first edition of Clear-Cut Magazine a new independent print and digital magazine focused on India’s social development sector was unveiled today at the Jaishankar Memorial Centre (JMC), New Delhi.

In a symbolic and deeply moving gesture, the magazine was launched not by officials or celebrities but by young school-going girls from JMC’s support group, highlighting the essence of the message of the publication that the future of India’s social contribution is to empower its youth and underprivileged groups.

The event was attended by Vidya Raghavan and Raghavan Srinivasan from the Managing Team of JMC, along with staff, well-wishers, and children from economically weaker section the very recipients of the Centre’s transformative work.

Addressing the launch, Vidya Raghavan welcomed the initiative and said: “Clear Cut Magazine has taken the most significant way to start its journey by putting children, the future of our country, at the center of this celebration. This is a reflection of the spirit of JMC and the magazine, creating an India where social responsibility is not a dream but a reality.”

Paresh Kumar, Managing Editor of Clear-Cut Magazine, was thankful to JMC for organizing the launch. “It was our pleasure to release our inaugural issue at this influential institution. We were moved by the hospitality of the JMC community and grateful to see their remarkable efforts in empowering young lives. Having the children initiate this launch was not only symbolic but deeply in keeping with our purpose.”

Kumar also emphasized the common vision between the two organizations. “The mission to pay tribute to the legacy of Jaishankar through social change via education and community development strongly resonates with our own philosophy. At Clear Cut, we believe in the power of narrative and the narratives being written daily at JMC are amongst the most compelling we know.”
