Iran, 17 April 2024: In a continued show of resistance against Israeli aggression, the Hezbollah group in Lebanon launched a second Kamikaze drone attack on Wednesday, following a similar strike the day before. The attacks targeted Israeli military posts near the Lebanon border, in what Hezbollah describes as support for the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza.
The latest strike, which occurred on Wednesday, saw a projectile slamming into a building in Arab al-Aramshe. Hezbollah claims this action was in response to the killing of three of its members during Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon on Tuesday. Israeli media reports indicate that the injuries sustained in the attack rose to 18, with four victims listed in serious condition.
Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that it targeted a building used by the Israeli military with guided missiles and explosive-laden drones. Footage released by the group showcased the destruction of an Iron Dome air defense station, showing the moment it caught fire after being hit by a Kamikaze drone.
According to reports, Hezbollah targeted dozens of Israeli military bases on Kfarchouba Heights and Golan Heights on Wednesday. In a statement, the group announced that its Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Zibdeen Barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with Falaq rockets, inflicting direct hits.
These actions mark a significant escalation in tensions between Hezbollah and Israel, with the Lebanese group vowing to continue its resistance against what it perceives as Israeli aggression.
