“This year’s version of the Conclave comes as a testimony and witness to the growing trade and economic partnership between Africa and India; a continent and a sub-continent. The variety of the themes discussed bear witness to this as they straddle across subjects like finance, infrastructure, health, trilateral cooperation mechanisms, defense, and others.

But what does truly draw my attention and is an eye-opener for me is introducing novel themes like space cooperation. I believe this is an actual incarnation of the old saying the sky is the limit! India is undoubtedly emerging as a new space-invading power. This poses a great opportunity for Africa to probe with India into an area that has always been considered by humanity as a common heritage of mankind. I do wish all the success for this version and that all participants would find it very interesting and intriguing as its predecessors”
