Four militants gunned down in southern Kashmir’s Anantnag
Four unidentified militants have been killed so far while the gun battle is still going on in the area.

Four militants have been killed in a gunfight that raged between government forces and militants in a forest area of Shalgul Srigufwara in southern Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
As per the initial reports, four unidentified militants have been killed so far while the gun battle is still going on in the area.

Earlier, a joint team of Police, Army’s 03 RR and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
As the cordon was strengthened, gunfight erupted.
Meanwhile, mobile Internet services have been snapped in the district ‘as a precautionary measure’.
