Dr. Sujata Dutta’s remarkable journey towards becoming a Global IT Leader began with a passion for Math and Science in school. “Until I understood a concept, I would not leave the topic. I found the Technology field is amazing. There’s so much learning in this profession, opportunities to solve real problems, freedom to find different resources, and finding the solution to enable oneself.”
A self-made superachiever, Sujata entered the industry with a Master of Technology (MTech) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology (IIEST), Shibpur.
She received Honorary Doctorate Degree of Professional Studies in ‘Engineering Management’ by UNESCO affiliated university in America.
With over 2 decades of experience in IT Value Chain, including Design, Development, S/W Testing, Automation, Consultancy, she held Leadership positions across various MNCs, Tech Giants, Engineering Companies such as Tata Steel, Geometric Software Solutions Ltd, Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Eaton Technologies Pvt Ltd. Presently, she is the Senior Vice President, Global Practice Head, Tech_VOIS, where she is proud of transforming the practice from ‘Resource-Based’ to ‘Industry Benchmarking KPI driven’.
Blessed with an innate ability to identify strategic opportunities it didn’t take long for Sujata to become the ‘go-to’ person in any firm. She played critical roles across multiple domains, generated multiple Repeat/Referral Businesses, became a ‘Change Agent’ and brought transformation to maximize Customer NPS and Revenue by delivering High Quality. In addition, she achieved Cost Optimization and led exponential improvement of Customer-Employee-Experience.

A vocal advocate of ‘Diversity’ and ‘Inclusion’, she grew the diversity ratio from 10-40% in her organization and supported multiple people (irrespective of gender) ‘Back to Work’ by exhibiting a strong inclusivity agenda. She often finds herself in the role of Presiding Officer of POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Committee and is a regular contributor to WIT (Women in Tech) forum as a mentor, coach, speaker, panelist. A sought-after International Speaker, she is regularly invited to participate in internal webinars, big tech corporations, and renowned conferences.
