Al-Qaeda Terrorist Zakir Musa Killed In Encounter
The Indian security Forces claimed to have killed 2 militants in the encounter but their names were not confirmed then. However, Musa’s family was informed that he was at the encounter site.
Srinagar, India, Friday, May 24, 2019–
Zakir Musa, the slain militant who was the successor to Burhan Wani after his death and chief of Ansar Ghazwal-Ul-Hind was neutralised in a joint operation of the 42 RR, CRPF and SOG.
People have been protesting and chanting slogans on the roads since the news of Musa’s encounter spread. It is being reported that somewhere around thousands of people attended his funeral procession in Tral area of Kashmir.
The Indian security Forces claimed to have killed 2 militants in the encounter but their names were not confirmed then. However, Musa’s family was informed that he was at the encounter site. Later, when the family received the body, it was ascertained that one of them was top militant commander Zakir Musa.
People have been coming in scores to attend Zakir Musa’s funeral. Three rounds of funeral have been offered.
Huge masses attended the funeral procession to the home. Protests began in Shopian, Pulwama, Awantipora and areas of Downtown Srinagar where people shouted slogans like ‘Zakir Musa Zindabad’ and ‘Allah Hu Akbar’
The security forces said the encounter was based on a Cordon And Search Operation carried out in the area. Internet connectivity has been paused in Kashmir.
