Sony’s SRS-NS7 and SRS-NB10 neckbands make India debut, and they are unique

Wireless speakers are now staying off your ears. Instead, your next-gen sound device would stay as a neck band. That’s exactly what technology behemoth Sony wants to happen. The company’s new wireless neckband speakers have made their advent in in India – and there are two, not just one.

Known as the SRS-NS7 and SRS-NB10, the neckbands from Sony are devices anyone would want to own. The new gadgets offer compatibility with the WLA-NS7 transmitter so as to carry the company’s signature 360 Spatial Sound experience with Sony Bravia XR TVs.

Sony throws in unique features into the new neckbands

Once you pair the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer app with the SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speaker and Sony Bravia XR TV, SRS-NS7 acts in such a way that it can estimate the 3D shape of the user’s ear and optimises the arrangement of virtual Dolby Atmos speakers for them.

Meanwhile, the SRS-NB10 is built in such a way that it can help you to join conference calls and listen to music. Whenever you speak, your voice is picked up by the Precise Voice Pickup Technology the device houses. While picking up you voice, it also cuts down on the noise around.

Sony Neckbands

Sony has thrown in IPX4 splash resistant properties and battery life of up to 20 and 12 hours respectively in the SRS-NB10 and SRS-NS7 speakers.

A review said that the SRS-NS7 brings with it the capabilities to provide crystal clear acoustics and powerful sound pressure with X-Balanced Speaker Unit and a passive radiator. Integrated with hands-free calling functionality, the device offers the Play / Call button on the left side of the neckband.

Connect two devices at once

The SRS-NS7 also comes with a multi-point connection that lets you to connect two devices at the same time. A 10-minute quick charge can add an hour of extra playtime, according to the company.

Currently available to purchase at Sony Center, e-commerce portals, and electronic stores, the devices offer a wide gap in prices, with the SRS-NBS10 coming across as the affordable variant. The Sony SRS-NBS10 neckband can be yours for Rs 11,990. At the same time, you will have to shell out Rs. 22,990 for the SRS-NS7. Sony is also offering its WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter for a price of Rs. 5,690.
