Oppo Find N2 Flip folding phone to have India, global unveiling in February 15

The reveal of the Oppo Find N2 Flip would be the company’s first since the A78 5G and Reno 8T models.

The clamshell design phone from Oppo is set to launch on February 15. The wait has been on for some time now, and its heard that the new Oppo Find N2 Flip folding smartphone will arrive in India, and also globally, on this day.

The launch is set to be live streamed on Oppo’s YouTube channel and other social media channels. What makes it so special is that this would be Oppo’s first significant unveiling of the phone ever since the company brought its A78 5G and Oppo Reno 8T smart devices.

While the Oppo A78 5G had arrived as major player in the Rs 20,000 segment, the Reno 8T hopped on to the Rs 30,000 segment. And now, the latest launch adds significance to itself by looking to bring about some stiff competition to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, which comes with a retail price of Rs 82,999 in the India market place.

Oppo Find N2 Flip could pack a bunch of awesome features

What we need to expect from the Oppo Find N2 Flip are a bunch of awesome features. To be made available in hues of pink and black shades, the new Oppo Find N2 Flip will sport a wide cover screen in a vertical orientation. This aspect would come in handy for users who do not like to unfold the phone just to read notifications or preview images.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip in its Chinese avatar comes across as a device with a 6.8-inch primary Full-HD+ AMOLED display. We need to expect the same with its Indian and global iterations. The phone has a 3.62-inch outer screen.

An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC coupled with ARM Mali-G710 MC10 hides beneath the surface. The device would offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS3.1 onboard storage.

Hasselblad cameras deployed in the folding device

The imaging department deploys Hasselblad cameras. A 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-MP ultra-wide camera fulfils the shooter promise. And for the selfie enthusiasts, it is going to be a 32-megapixel camera.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip will come with support for 5G. The power requirements will be met by a 4,300mAh dual-cell battery with 44W SuperVOOC charging.  What we are looking to know is the exact price.

As it would pit against the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, we need to expect it to cost something around Rs 75000 to Rs 80000. But then, whether the device is worth that amount of money is a big question.
