Qatar: Jordan’s national football team continues to defy expectations at the AFC Asian Cup, securing a historic place in the semi-finals with a thrilling victory over Tajikistan. After their surprising 3-2 win over Iraq in the Round of 16, Jordan displayed resilience and determination once again to defeat their Central Asian opponents 1-0 at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.

In a hard-fought match that saw both teams locked in a stalemate for 65 minutes, Jordan turned on the pressure, ultimately leading to Tajikistan conceding an own goal.
