As a part of International Year of Millets celebrations, the Ministry of Food Processing Industries organized a World Food India, 2023 during 3rd – 5th November at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event was the biggest ever congregation of senior government dignitaries, global investors and business leaders of major global and domestic food companies and has put India firmly on the global food landscape.
Japan was a Focus Country at WFI 2023 and during the Japan session held on 5th November at Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre, New Delhi, Japanese Ambassador, His Excellency Hiroshi Suzuki addressed the large gathering of eminent personalities. Followed by an address by Anita Praveen, Secretary of MoFPI, and Ajit Pai, Lead Strategy Partner at EY, and presentations by seven Japanese companies.
