However, he states that the home care of treated hair is very important. He suggests the steps of how to look after hair at home. First, he advises using a shampoo that does not contain sulfate, paraben and silicon. But the shampoo needs to be diluted with an equal quantity of water. The water activates the shampoo to work on the roots of the hair and nourish them. They can also apply a hair mask or opt for a conditioner to nurture the hair further. Also, while combing, the patients should gently remove the knots, tangles and snags and make the hair smooth and silky.
