African Day, 25 May, 2023, marks the 60th Anniversary of the formation of the Organisation of African Union (AU), by the Continent’s Founding Fathers in Addis Ababa on 25th May, 1963.
We salute the African Union as a vehicle for Continental and Regional integration. In our diversity as members of this august organisation, we represent what the continent can offer to the rest of humanity in a spirit of frank and constructive partnership.
