NITI Aayog released the \u201cBest Practices in Social Sector: A Compendium, 2023\u201d today in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme. To commemorate 75 years of India\u2019s independence and highlight and laud the efforts of Union Ministries and State Governments, this compendium includes 75 case studies cutting across 14 key social sectors. The case studies have been sourced from all States\/ Union Territories and 30 Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis publication is an opportunity for peer-to-peer learning among states, to applaud the efforts of innovations taking place in the States and to adopt practices that are best suited to the context,\u201d\u00a0Shri Suman Bery, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog<\/a><\/strong>, said during the launch. He added that this document should be made a living document and should be an active tool for innovation and scale-up.\u00a0\u201cThe utility of the compendium lies in the potential of its case studies being replicated across States and Union Territories,\u201d\u00a0observed Shri B.V.R Subrahmanyam, CEO, of NITI Aayog.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis document is not only significant for peer learning among states, but also an important source for other countries to learn from India\u2019s successes,\u201d remarked Ms Shoko Noda, Resident Representative, UNDP India. \u201cAs India is celebrating \u2018Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav\u2019, NITI Aayog and UNDP are bringing out this compendium showcasing 75 best practices in the social sector which truly highlight the theme \u2018Achievements @75\u2019 at the grassroots level\u201d, said Dr Yogesh Suri, Senior Adviser, NITI Aayog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
