According to Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship, India has been transforming itself as the Skill Capital of the World, and has now opened a horizon of new opportunities for its youth. With entrepreneurs considered national assets, they can bring innovations to the business and provide world-class services with the right skill training support. Besides, they can also stimulate economic growth, innovation, competitiveness, and alleviate poverty.

He added that there is an urgent need to empower and enable them in creating a world where we have more job providers than job seekers. In this context, the new partnership is expected to provide a roadmap for employment, growth, and entrepreneurship.

Skill development is considered the first and most important step towards building an Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Taking this belief forward, HUL has made a social commitment to upskill and reskill over 15 lakh youth in India by 2030 to increase their chances of employability.
